Second Fernway Elementary Community Meeting Announced
The district will meet with concerned residents at Shaker Heights High School.

SHAKER HEIGHTS, OH — The second community meeting on Fernway Elementary will be held Wednesday, August 1 at Shaker Heights High School. District and municipal leaders will listen to resident concerns and answer pressing questions during the session.
Notably, Interim Superintendent Stephen Wilkins initially said the district would announced a temporary Fernway location by August. Next week's meeting will start at 6 p.m. Attendees should gather in the high school's upper cafeteria. It is not yet clear if an announcement about a temporary school will be made that day.
Childcare will be provided during the meeting. However, parents and guardians should RSVP to news@shaker.org and tell them how many children will be in attendance and the ages of the children.
