During the project, through traffic in both directions will be closed on Shaker Boulevard. There will also be no on-street parking between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. Permits for side-street parking will be distributed to residents who live on Shaker Boulevard.
If Shaker Boulevard is part of your daily commute, the city says you'll need to find an alternate route. South Woodland is expected to receive heavy traffic during the stretch of the construction.
The April 4 community meeting to discuss the project will be held at Stephanie Tubbs Jones Community Building, 3450 Lee Rd.
