SHAKER HEIGHTS, OH — Shaker Heights High is among the best public high schools in Ohio, according to Niche.com. The website ranked Shaker Heights High as the eighth best public high school in the Buckeye State.

To create the rankings, Niche.com looked at more than 94,000 public schools and ranked them based on comments from current students, alumni and parents, test scores and academic performance, campus life, extracurricular activities, diversity, sports options, and special needs programs.

Shaker Heights received an overall A grade in the rankings. The report card for the high school broke down like this:
