The Cuyahoga County Board of Health (CCBH) annually inspects and collects samples from storm sewer outfalls in 52 communities in Cuyahoga County, including in Shaker Heights. This year, inspections will start in mid-May weather permitting. Please note:

- CCBH employees will wear bright yellow apparel with “CCBH” written on the back; inspectors will also be wearing hip waders or knee-high boots.
- CCBH employees will wear face coverings when working with others, and will have a face mask available at all times to wear when interacting with other people, including residents.
- CCBH employees will be attempting to minimize interaction with residents and the public where possible in the interest of everyone’s safety.
- This year, CCBH will focus on sampling areas where necessary contact with the public will be limited.
