Gas Main Replacement: Warrensville Center Rd. & Mercer Area

(Updated April 3) Dominion Energy is scheduled to start this project on April 13.

(Posted February 24) In March, Dominion Energy Ohio will start a gas main replacement project on Warrensville Center Rd. and in parts of the Mercer area (see map below). Work on Warrensville Center Rd. will take place between Fairmount Circle and Farnsleigh Rd. Motorists should anticipate delays.

Please note:

• Anticipated completion is end of June (weather permitting).
• Hours of work will be 7 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday.
• Traffic will be maintained in both directions on Warrensville Center Rd. and impacted neighborhood streets, but there will be lane closures.

Prior to starting construction, the contractor will be recording pre-existing conditions of the sidewalks and driveways. If there are any concerns, residents should call Shaker Height’s Police Dispatch at 216-491-1234.

Residents living within the work limits will receive further information from the contractor (Wartko Construction) and Dominion. If underground irrigation or invisible fences are damaged by the work, residents should call 330-673-5252.
