Shaker Heights High School Evacuated For Fire
The Fire Department closed the building down at about noon. Students were barred from returning for hours because of smoke.

SHAKER HEIGHTS, OH - Students were evacuated from Shaker Heights High School for a suspected electrical fire on Friday afternoon. The Shaker Heights Fire Department responded to the scene and closed the main building.
Students that are still on-campus will be able to retrieve their personal items from the campus, the district said in a Tweet. Students that want to return to the building for their personal items can do so. Additionally, any students that want to finish taking their AP tests will be allowed back-in to finish the exam.
All Shaker Heights High School athletic events will continue as scheduled.

There was a contigent of Middle School students visiting the planetarium at the high school. Those students were also evacuated and were taken back to their building.
