Shaker Heights High Interim Principal Will Finish Year At School

SHAKER HEIGHTS, OH — David Glasner will serve out the year as Shaker Heights High School's interim principal, the school district announced.

Glasner has been working at the high school, as principal, since early November 2018. He took over the duties of then-principal Jonathan Kuehnle when Kuehnle was placed on administrative leave.

Kuehnle has requested he be reassigned away from the high school. He will now perform agreed-upon administrative duties with the school district until his contract expires at the end of the school year, Shaker Heights officials said.

The Shaker Heights Schools will post the job opening for the principal position as soon as possible. An update on the hiring process will be given to the community by, at least, Feb. 15, district officials said.
