Shaker Heights High Principal Placed On Leave

The district said, because it was a personnel matter, it could not say why Jonathan Kuehnle was on administrative leave.

SHAKER HEIGHTS, OH — Shaker Heights High Principal Jonathan Kuehnle has been placed on administrative leave, the district announced on Friday. School leaders said they could not provide details on Kuehnle's leave because it is a "personnel" matter.

David Glasner, the executive director of curriculum and instruction, and a former middle school principal, will take over Kuehnle's duties. He began his term as substitute principal on Friday, November 2, the district said.

"Dr. Glasner will serve in this capacity pending the conclusion of the review. Dr. Glasner and I will be speaking with High School faculty and staff Friday afternoon," Stephen M. Wilkins, Shaker's interim superintendent said in a letter to the community on Friday.
