Shaker Heights Launches New Branding Video
A team working on behalf of the city created the video, called "Shaker is the Place," over the course of a year.
SHAKER HEIGHTS, OH — Shaker Heights released its new brand video "Shaker is the Place" this week. The video is part of a larger marketing scheme to attract and retain residents.
“We’re excited to share our community with the world. We believe that Shaker is more than just a city, it’s a community created by our residents. It’s especially fitting and unique that we’ve been able to work so closely with the people who live here throughout the process of creating the video,” said Mayor David Weiss.
A team working on behalf of the city created the video over the course of a year. Officials said they wanted to ensure Shaker's residents, activities and places were well represented.

The city said it hopes the video "upholds an integrity that's focused on the people of Shaker Heights, not just the places."
