Shaker Heights: Nature Center Closes Stearns Trail

The Nature Center at Shake Lakes is moving forward with the Stearns Trail capital improvements project. The trail will close on Monday, May 11 through the end of October. Improvements will include replacing the two larger bridges that cross the Doan Brook, along with the smaller bridges along the trail; decking and step replacement; a new Mini-Marsh Deck; and a Tree House for education programs and classes.
