Shaker Heights RTA: Rapid Service Disruption
At Green Road, Shaker/Belvoir, and all Blue Line stations, riders will board the 67R buses at the usual 67R bus stops.
May 28, 2020
From June 28 to August 8, eastbound and westbound Rapid service between Shaker Heights and Tower City will be replaced by 67R Blue-Green Line buses. This is so that the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (RTA) can complete a major track rehabilitation project west of the Buckeye/Woodhill station.

67R buses will stop at Blue and Green Line stations in Shaker Heights, with the exception of the seven Green Line stations between Shaker Square and Warrensville Center Rd. These are Coventry, Southington, South Park, Lee, Attleboro, Eaton, and Courtland. Temporary signage at the 67R bus stops adjacent to these stations will direct riders to the nearest location for boarding the 67R bus.

Please note:
- At Green Road, Shaker/Belvoir, and all Blue Line stations, riders will board the 67R buses at the usual 67R bus stops. At Shaker-Warrensville, riders will board at temporary 67R stops on Warrensville Center Road. (Stops are marked with orange 67R signage.)
- Additionally, during this period, Rapid riders who normally board at the Blue Line’s Van Aken/Warrensville Center Rd. station will want to note whether they’re boarding a westbound or eastbound 67R bus. This is because eastbound buses will stop at this station before continuing to the Green Line stations on Warrensville Center Rd., S. Belvoir Rd. and Green Road. 67R buses will have displays on the front of the bus reading Blue Green East or Blue Green West.
Complete schedule information will be on rideRTA.com at least one week in advance.
