Shaker Heights Schools Hosting Career Preparation Event
Professionals from various industries will discuss writing a cover letter, crafting a resume, nailing an interview, and more.
SHAKER HEIGHTS, OH - High school juniors and seniors will have an opportunity to learn relevant skills for applying and getting a job at an upcoming event called Secrets of Success. The event will be held Friday at the high school.
The program is free and will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be a free lunch with pizza and salad. However, space is limited to 100 students. The registration deadline is Jan. 18.
During the event, professionals from various industries will talk about how they got their position. That will mean a conversation about the writing cover letters, crafting your resume, interview tips and more.

As a reminder, Shaker Schools will be closed on Friday for a professional day. That day will also be the end of the district's first semester.
