Shaker Heights Schools Name New COO
Jeffrey A. Grosse will leave the Berea City Schools to become the chief operating officer of the Shaker Heights Schools.

SHAKER HEIGHTS, OH — The Shaker Heights City Schools have named Jeffrey Grosse the district's new chief operating officer. Grosse's hiring was announced Monday.
As COO, Grosse will lead and collaborate with all district operations staff and advise on long-term facilities planning. Grosse joins the Shaker Heights Schools after more than 25 years of administrative experience at the Berea City Schools.
Grosse most recently served as the assistant superintendent and director of business services for Berea. He oversaw a $112.5 million budget used to renovate a middle school and build a new elementary and high school.

Grosse also directed a team that consolidated two high schools and two middle schools, saving his school district more than $3.4 million.
Prior to taking on administrative roles, Gross was principal at Berea High School and assistant principal at Midpark High School. He started his career as a health and physical education teacher, and coach, at both Cuyahoga Falls High School and Trinity High School.

Grosse graduated from Baldwin-Wallace College with a bachelor's degree in HEalth and Physical Education, and a master's degree in Supervision and Administration. He lives in Brunswick with his wife Linda. The couple have two grown daughters.
