SHAKER HEIGHTS, OH — A contingent of South Korean officials, teachers and journalists will visit the Shaker Heights Schools on Monday. The group will be on-hand to learn more about the district's International Baccalaureate Programme.

“We are extremely honored to host this distinguished group of educators and thought leaders,” said John Moore, the district’s IB Coordinator. “Every year, the delegation visits one exceptional school system in the world and this year they have chosen Shaker Heights."

There are only eight school districts in North America that offer the International Baccalaureate (IB) program to all students, at every grade level. The delegation will spend a day in Shaker Heights, visiting classrooms, meeting students and teachers and seeing how the program has been implemented.
