Stabbing Victim Says He Was Attacked In Shaker Heights

A patient at University Hospitals says he was stabbed while in Shaker Heights.

SHAKER HEIGHTS, OH — A patient that was rushed to University Hospitals' main campus claims he was stabbed while in Shaker Heights. Read on for more information on that incident and others from the week.

Burglary, June 25 - A television was stolen from a home in the 13000 block of South Park Blvd. The unidentified suspect was able to enter a locked home to commit the burglary.

Burglary, June 25 - This time a prowler hit an unlocked home in the city. A resident reported that an unidentified suspect entered their home in the 19000 block of Winslow Road and personal property and electronics. The house was unlocked at the time of the theft, police say.

Motor Vehicle Theft, June 25 - A resident in the 2000 block of Claythorne Road reported on Sunday that someone stole their white 2010 Ford Explorer Station Wagon. The vehicle was unlocked at the time of the theft, police say. The vehicle's license plate reads #FAW8925.

Theft, June 26 - A 35-year-old Warrensville Heights man was detained by police after he was seen stealing merchandise from the Heinen's grocery store in the 16000 block of Chagrin Boulevard.

Theft, June 27 - Police also detained a 61-year-old who was seen stealing $78 worth of merchandise from the Walgreens store on Chagrin Boulevard.

Stabbing, June 29 - A patient at University Hospitals' main campus told police they were stabbed on Ingleside Road. Police are investigating the incident. Another male who may have been involved in the incident was also transported to the hospital with injuries.
