Stove Stolen In Burglary At Shaker Heights Home

Plus, a bevy of shoplifters hit Shaker Heights stores over the past seven days.

SHAKER HEIGHTS, OH — Someone managed to steal a stove out of a house on Chelton Road this past week. Police say they've identified a suspect, but the police report did not say an arrest had been made in the burglary.

Shoplifting, April 6 — A 56-year-old Cleveland man was seen stealing beverages from a Shaker Heights store last Friday afternoon. He fled the store in a car.

Shoplifting, April 6 — A 51-year-old Cleveland man was detained by police last Friday. He was accused of stealing beverages from the Chagrin Wine & Beverage store on Chagrin Boulevard.

Receiving Stolen Property, April 10 — Officers were called to the 17100 block of Chagrin Boulevard to check on a 59-year-old Cleveland resident that was suspected of stealing items. The man was found to be in possession of $21 of stolen good from two different businesses.

Burglary, April 11 — A stove was taken from a home in the 3700 block of Chelton Road. Police said the theft happened between April 7 and 11. Officers have identified a suspect.

Shoplifting, April 11 — A 21-year-old Cleveland resident was cited for taking a $2.49 drink from a business on Van Aken Boulevard.
