Superintendent Will Say Goodbye At Shaker Heights Q&A
Famed local newscaster Leon Bibb will moderate a farewell session with the departing Gregory Hutchings.

SHAKER HEIGHTS, OH — At the end of 2017, Shaker Heights Superintendent Gregory Hutchings announced he would be leaving the district to return his hometown of Alexandria, Virginia. News of his departure came as a surprise to much of the community, but residents and students will have their chance to say goodbye and ask a few questions at an upcoming event.
The district is hosting a "Farewell Q&A" on May 10 in the Shaker Heights High School Auditorium. The event will be moderated by famed local newscaster Leon Bibb. The session will last approximately one hour, from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The event is free and open to the public. However, space is limited so the district is asking people to register to attend. To sign-up for a guaranteed seat, click here.
