T-Shirt Fundraiser Benefits Fernway Elementary Teachers

SHAKER HEIGHTS, OH -- A new fundraiser is benefiting the Fernway Elementary community. School district supporters can purchase a T-shirt that reads "#fernwayforever" across the front, and 30 percent of the proceeds will go to the Shaker Heights Teachers Association.

Items for sale, with the "#fernwayforever" logo, include a T-shirt, a baseball shirt, a cinch pack and a hoodie. Prices range from $12 to $30, depending on what is purchased.

The Shaker Heights PTO sent an email to the community about the fundraiser. The sale is open until July 23.

Notably, the district has also launched a micro website dedicated exclusively to updates on Fernway Elementary's status. The website includes communications from district officials, updates on building repairs, which space may be used a temporary school replacement, and more.
