Thefts Happening Throughout Shaker Heights
A variety of theft incidents have been hitting businesses and residents.

SHAKER HEIGHTS, OH — Someone damaged a storage unit in the city so they could steal tools and equipment. Police also dealt with a variety of thefts from stores and residents over the past week.

Theft from Building, Oct. 9 — The manager of a residential building in the 3000 block of Avalon Road reported that someone damaged a storage unit and then stole tools and equipment.

Shoplifting, Oct. 12 — The manager of Verizon Wireless, in the 16000 block of Chagrin Blvd., reported that someone stole two cell phones from the store.
Theft from Home, Oct. 11 — Someone stole a bicycle from an unsecured garage in the 2000 block of Belvoir Blvd. Police believe the theft took place in the nighttime hours of Wednesday.
