Thefts Occurring Throughout Shaker Heights
Police are searching for thieves that hit unlocked cars in the city.

SHAKER HEIGHTS, OH — Police are chasing down thieves who have targeted both stores and residents in the city. Once again, unlocked cars have been prime targets for these crimes.

Receiving Stolen Goods, Oct. 18 — Officers were called to the Dollar Tree Store in the 17000 block of Chagrin Blvd. Police detained a 37-year-old Cleveland resident who was found in possession of stolen goods.

Theft from Motor Vehicle, Oct. 19 — Property was stolen from an unlocked car in the 3000 block of Lynnfield Rd. The theft occurred during the nighttime hours.
Theft, Oct. 19 — Police detained a 17-year-old man for stealing property from a Cleveland resident. Officers found the teenager in the 16000 block of Lomond Blvd.

Theft from Motor Vehicle, Oct. 20 — Someone stole property from an unlocked car in the 3000 block of Ashby Road on Friday. The theft occurred in the nighttime hours.
Theft, Oct. 21 — A package was stolen from in front of a home on Scottsdale Boulevard.
