- Oct. 5 Guided tour with the Director 2 p.m. (normal admission fees). RSVP by calling 216.921.1201
- Oct. 7 POP ART by Lee Heinen, gallery opening 6 to 8 p.m., reception sponsored by Shaker Investments. This event is free. RSVP by calling 216.921.1201
- Oct. 8 2 to 4 p.m. Shaker Lakes Nature/Culture Hike with Dr. Roy Larick of Bluestone Heights, Dr. Ware Petznick of the Shaker Historical Museum and in partnership with the Doan Brook Watershed Project. RSVP by calling DBWP office: 216-325-7781
- Oct. 9 Bike Shaker – Shaker Goes Modern tour leaves the Shaker Historical Museum at 2 p.m. Bike rental and tour costs $20. SHS members receive a $5. Ride your own bike and you'll also get a $5 discount. RSVP by calling 216.921.1201
- Oct. 16 Pruning with Liberatore Landscape Construction, 3 to 5 p.m. – 2 hour workshop about the best practices in maintaining your landscape. Bring your tools! $20.00 ($10.00 SHS Members). Please RSVP by calling 216.921.1201
- Oct. 20 Shaker songs with Plymouth Choir. 7:30 p.m. at Plymouth Church chapel. The choir will perform a few pieces then you can join in a sing-a-long, $10 per person (Plymouth & SHS Members free). RSVP by calling 216.921.1201
- Oct. 21 Founder's Day – On this day in 1947, 12 ladies and gentlemen from Shaker Heights and the surrounding community founded the Shaker Historical Society. Open House – Free admission for Shaker Heights, Cleveland Heights and Gates Mills residents (the home towns of the original trustees).
- Nov. 2 Guided tour with the Director 6 p.m/ (normal admission fees). RSVP by calling 216.921.1201
- Nov. 12, 6 to 10 p.m. The 6th Annual Movers and Shakers event honoring Marty & Sandra Kolb, David and the late Erica Weiss and Ryan & Neema Mayhugh. For tickets, please call 216.921.1201 by Nov. 1st.
