Traffic Patterns Set To Change Near Lomond School

Motorists should be extra cautious around the school over the next few weeks.

SHAKER HEIGHTS, OH — Drivers watch out! Traffic patters will change around Lomond Elementary on August 22, the city announced. Signs will be erected near the school, on specific streets, warning motorists about coming changes.

The city said that during specific days and times, certain streets near Lomond will be one-way only, and turning restrictions will be put in place. Most of the changes will be relevant on school days, between 8:30-9:30 a.m. and 3-4 p.m.

These changes are being implemented to ensure the safety of school children as they are picked up and dropped off at school, the city said. Warning signs will be placed on Palmerston, Sherrington, and Strandhill roads.
