Two Community Conversations In Shaker Heights On Sunday
Residents are encourage to emerge from their homes and meet their neighbors on June 24.

SHAKER HEIGHTS, OH — Two community conversations discussing the concept of "place" will be held Sunday, June 24, in Shaker Heights. Both events are free and will feature either a potluck style meal or simple supper.
The events are part of the broad Common Ground initiative from the Cleveland Foundation. Community Conversations are being held throughout Greater Cleveland on June 24 as part of the Common Ground campaign.
The Heights Christian Church is hosting its event from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Attendees will discuss the future of Shaker Heights and what it means to be from the community. "Together we will explore the assets and needs of our community, share our dreams for our common future, and develop ways we can work together to achieve them. We look forward to enjoying some neighborly fellowship as we gather together," the church said on the Cleveland Foundation website.

The second event will be hosted at a private home. "Please join us for a casual evening as we all share "our place". If you are inclined to bring a dish to share your sense of "place" (a family recipe, comfort food, whatever makes you feel good), that would be wonderful but is not a requisite. We are looking forward to meeting new friends and an engaging conversation!"
