Unlocked Car, With Keys In It, Stolen In Shaker Heights
The vehicle was reported stolen by an apartment complex and its residents who may have witnessed the theft.

SHAKER HEIGHTS, OH - Shaker Heights Police dealt with a lot of thefts from unlocked houses and cars this week. The biggest incident was the theft of a 2014 Kia from an apartment building on Van Aken Boulevard. Read on for more information.
Theft, March 20 - Copper plumbing was stolen from a vacant house on Glencairn Road. Police say the house was locked prior to the theft and that the incident took place overnight.
Theft, March 21 - Two bicycles were stolen from a Scottsdale Boulevard resident's unlocked and open garage.

Motor Vehicle Theft, March 22 - Residents of an apartment building on Van Aken Boulevard reported that a 2014 blue Kia Forte was stolen. The car was unlocked, had the keys in it, and contained other equipment, police say.
Theft, March 22 - Packages were stolen from a Cheshire Road resident's porch. The packages were delivered and left unsecured, police say.
