Unlocked Car Stolen In Shaker Heights
Police say a rented Ford Fusion was left running in a driveway and was stolen by an unidentified suspect.

SHAKER HEIGHTS, OH - Never leave your car unlocked and running in a driveway. As safe as it may seem at the time, it leaves your vehicle wide open to theft. Read on for this past weekend's incidents.
Burglary, April 7 - A resident on Kemper Road reported that someone entered their unlocked apartment and stole electronics and clothing.
Shoplifting, April 7 - Heinen's, 16000 block of Chagrin Blvd., reported a possible theft to Shaker Heights Police at about 5 p.m. A 54-year-old Cleveland resident was found in possession of a stolen beverage and was detained.

Burglary, April 8 - A resident in the 3000 block of Daleford Road reported that an unidentified suspect entered an unlocked house and stole electronics.
Motor Vehicle Theft, April 8 - A 2016 blue Ford Fusion was stolen from a Lynnfield Road resident. The theft was reported at about 5:30 a.m. Police say the truck had a license plate reading #HAU1476. The car was a rental and was left running, with the keys in the ignition.

Theft, April 9 - Two residents were mugged by a trio of men wearing hooded sweatshirts with masks covering their faces. The men were armed with handguns and demanded money from the resident. The residents turned over their cell phones and the three men ran from the area on foot.
