Unlocked Car Stolen From Shaker Heights Gas Station
The owner of the vehicle left it unlocked and running, with the keys in the ignition. The car was subsequently stolen.

SHAKER HEIGHTS, OH - Police are again reminding people to not leave their cars unlocked overnight. Also, never leave your car unlocked and running. One Cleveland resident found that lesson out the hard way. Read on for more information.
Theft from Motor Vehicle, Feb. 10 - Tires and rims were stolen from Shaker Hardware, the 17000 block of Chagrin Boulevard. The owner reported the theft at 9:50 a.m. and said the tires and rims were in a secured area of the store.
Theft, Feb. 10 - A 36-year-old Clevelander was detained in the 3000 block of Chelton Road. The suspect is believed to have stolen supplies from the Walgreen's at the 16000 block of Chagrin Boulevard. The suspect also has a felony warrant issued by Cuyahoga County.

Theft, Feb. 10 - The manager of the CVS in the 17000 block of Chagrin Boulevard reported that a male suspect stole cleaning supplies and then ran out of the store.
Theft from Motor Vehicle, Feb. 11 - Someone entered an unlocked car on Ingleside Road and stole a resident's personal property. The theft was discovered at 7:55 a.m. and police believe the theft occurred during the nighttime hours.

Theft, Feb. 11 - Copper piping was stolen from a home being remodeled on Hildana Road.
Motor Vehicle Theft, Feb. 11 - A Cleveland resident left their car unlocked and running, with the keys in the ignition, and an unknown suspect stole the vehicle. The vehicle is a 2007 Maroon Jeep, license plate #GUU2167, and was parked at a gas station.
Motor Vehicle Theft, Feb. 12 - Shaker Heights police aided Cleveland Police in a stolen vehicle investigation. Two 20-year-old Shaker Heights residents were detained at about 1:30 a.m. after they were seen in a car reported stolen from Cleveland.
Suspicion, Feb. 12 - A resident on Scottsdale Boulevard reported that someone entered their unlocked car. The vehicle was parked in the driveway and the resident reported the unauthorized entry at about 3:45 p.m.
