Unlocked Cars Targeted For Theft In Shaker Heights
Police dealt with two thefts from unlocked cars on Warrensville Center Road last week.

SHAKER HEIGHTS, OH — Police are still dealing with thefts from unlocked vehicles in Shaker Heights. Two vehicles, left unsecured, were targeted on Sept. 6. Both vehicles were in the 3000 block of Warrensville Center Road and were pilfered from overnight.

Theft, Sept. 5 — An unidentified suspect stole a resident's bicycle while it was parked outside of Shaker Heights High School. The bike was locked to a rack at the time of the theft.

Theft from Home, Sept. 5 — Someone stole packaged goods that had been delivered to a home in the 15000 block of Van Aken Blvd.
Theft from Vehicle, Sept. 6 — An unknown suspect entered an unlocked car in the 3000 block of Warrensville Center Road and stole personal property from the vehicle.

Theft from Vehicle, Sept. 6 — Two thefts in one night. Another vehicle in the 3000 block of Warrensville Center Road had personal property taken from it during the nighttime hours. The vehicle was also left unlocked.
Receiving Stolen Goods, Sept. 8 — Police were called to the CVS Store, 17120 Chagrin Blvd., for reports of a shoplifter. A 48-year-old from Warrensville Heights was detained after he was seen stealing from the store and was found in possession of stolen goods.
Robbery, Sept. 10 — An employee at Rite Aid, 20405 Chagrin Blvd., reported that a man came in and stole money and goods from the store. No weapons were seen, police say.
