Unlocked Cars, Unlocked Home Targeted By Thieves In Shaker Heights
Two cars and one house were hit by prowlers this past week.

SHAKER HEIGHTS, OH — Crimes of opportunity have hit Shaker Heights this past week. Three cars were targeted by prowlers, two were left unlocked by their owners. A burglar also entered an unlocked house on Ingleside Rd. and snatched personal property.

Theft, Sept. 25 — Personal property was stolen from an unlocked car parked in the 15000 block of Van Aken Blvd.

Possession of Stolen Goods, Sept. 25 — Shaker Heights cops detained a 57-year-old Cleveland woman. The woman was found in the 16000 block of Chagrin Blvd. in possession of stolen goods.
Theft, Sept. 25 — A Pennsylvania resident parked their car in the 20000 block of Fairmount Blvd. The car was left unlocked and an unidentified suspect stole personal property from the car.Theft, Sept. 27 — Someone damaged a car in the 3000 block of Warrensville Center Rd. and stole personal property.

Burglary, Sept. 28 — A resident in the 3000 block of Ingleside Road reported that someone entered their unlocked home and stole property at about 4 p.m.
