SHAKER HEIGHTS, OH - If you're a creator, hobbyist, or someone interested in making things, an upcoming event is perfect for you. The Shaker Makers event on April 22 is a show-and-tell event for innovators in the region.

From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Dealership, 3558 Lee Rd., visitors will be able to explore the Makers' Alliance's building, see displays and booths from various creators, and generally participate in cool interactions with locally made gadgets.

The event is free and open to all. The event is being promoted by the City of Shaker Heights and the Makers' Alliance. The Makers' Alliance is a non-profit that was provide a community-operated space where people can meet, work on projects, and teach others what they know.

On the Makers' Alliance Facebook page, the group describes its space as "a fusion of a Fab-Lab, clubhouse, and community outreach."
