Mark your calendar: The Euclid Beach Park Carousel Society, in partnership with Cuyahoga County Public Library, is presenting a program "Return of the Carousel" on March 19 at the Bay Village branch. The 7:00 p.m event in the library's Bay meeting room will feature a history of Euclid Beach Park and more about the carousel and what will be its new home in University Circle at the Western Reserve Historical Society. At each talk, Cleveland’s Euclid Beach Park Carousel Society will present a history of the carousels that operated at the Park and discuss the return of the Grand Carousel in its specially built Pavilion at the Historical Society’s History Center. The Euclid Beach Park Carousel Society’s mission is to restore Cleveland’s grand 1910 Carousel, a regional historic and cultural landmark from Euclid Beach Park, to operational status to as to fund the Carousel Society’s Legacy Programs in creating social value to the community.
