1-Year-Old Brings Bag Of Marijuana Into Solon Daycare
Teachers didn't notice the bag until the toddler and another child began bickering over it.
SOLON, OH — A 1-year-old child brought a bag of marijuana into Kindercare this month, police reported. The child's guardian adamantly said the 1-year-old did not have the drugs prior to being dropped-off.
The incident happened Feb. 21, at approximately 1:40 p.m. Teachers at Kindercare told police they saw a child being dropped off at the facility. As the child was getting out, teachers saw the 1-year-old holding a plastic bag. They assumed it was their lunch.
After getting inside the building, the 1-year-old dropped the bag and another child picked it up. There was an argument between the children, according to police. Teachers went over to see what was going on and that's when the bag was noticed.
