The man reportedly told police his use of profanity was him exercising "freedom of speech."

SOLON, OH — Police got a report from a 55-year-old resident who said he had been threatened while driving on Springside Lane. The man said while he was on the street, a man approached him and began yelling profanities and threatening the man. Officers went to the street to check it out. They found a gathering at 32542 Springside Ln. Officers spoke to a couple on the sidewalk and asked if they had seen anything unusual. The couple said they had seen an argument of some kind between a driver and a man.
While talking with the couple, a man wearing an Adidas jacket approached police. He told officers he had been screaming at the man. He told police his profanity was "freedom of speech."
