20-Year-Olds Busted With Open Alcohol In Solon
Callers told police they thought two underage people were sleeping in a car. Turns out they were just drinking, police said.

SOLON, OH — Two 20-year-olds were caught drinking alcohol in a car parked on the Fox Hill Drive cul-de-sac. Police said they found the men after a caller reported a pair of juveniles asleep in a Nissan on the street at about 6:30 a.m. on June 27.
Officers investigated the report and found the men listening to music in the car. Both men appeared intoxicated, police said. There were empty bottles of alcohol on the ground outside of the vehicle, and bottles inside the car.
One of the 20-year-olds was arrested and charged with physical control of a car and prohibited BAC (he blew a .174, police said), and possession of alcohol underage. The other 20-year-old was cited for possession of alcohol underage and having an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle.
