Lake Erie Ink: a writing space for youth hosts their 2nd annual Kids’ Comic Con on March 8th from 10 am to 3 pm, for youth ages 8-18, featuring workshops with professional writers and illustrators, including cartoonist Terri Libenson, creator of the internationally syndicated comic strip, “The Pajama Diaries,” and Marc Sumerak, an Eisner and Harvey Award nominated comic book writer (THE AVENGERS, SPIDER-MAN, POWER PACK) who has worked for Marvel, DC, IDW and more. Other artists include: Cleveland Foundation Creative Fusion Artist, Adeel uz Zafar, Martinez E-B & Todd Pazicni, Elyria Comic Book Initiative, Angela Oster, Jon Hodges, Lee Smith, Miguel & Michelle Hernandez. The Kids’ Comic Con is supported in part by the residents of Cuyahoga County through a public grant from Cuyahoga Arts and Culture. Cost is $10 with financial aid available.
