3 Crack Pipes Lead To 3 Arrests In Solon
Officers busted three people, all in the same car, for each having a crack pipe.

SOLON, OH — Three people were arrested and charged for having crack pipes after they were stopped by a Solon cop on Sunday. One of the suspects also lied to police about who they were.
The incident began in the early morning on Sunday. An off-duty police officer working security at the Market District, 34310 Aurora Rd., saw a suspicious car in the parking lot. The officer contact patrol and asked them to check up on it.
Officers spotted the car as it pulled out of the parking lot. The car had an expired license plate so officers pulled it over in the parking lot of 7-Eleven.

An open can of beer was sitting in the cupholder of the car, police say. The driver, a 69-year-old Maple Heights man, had a crack pipe in the glove compartment of his car. He was arrested and charged with expired registration, unsafe vehicle and possession of drug paraphernalia.
A 51-year-old Cleveland man was sitting in the front seat of the car. When officers spoke to him, he lied about his identity. Officers found another crack pipe where the 51-year-old had been sitting. He was charged with falsification and possession of drug paraphernalia.

A third passenger, a 24-year-old Cleveland woman, was sitting in the backseat. She also had a crack pipe near her. The woman also had an outstanding warrant for her arrest with another police department and was arrested.
