33.5 Grams Of Marijuana Found During Solon Traffic Stop
The driver was pulled over for speeding and was found to be intoxicated. Police then found the weed in the car.

SOLON, OH — Police stopped a car for speeding on US 422 last week. The vehicle was going more than 15 mph over the posted speed limit. The driver appeared to be intoxicated and was arrested. Then police found marijuana in his car.

OVI, Feb. 9 — Police saw a car drift over the center line on Cochran Road and stopped the vehicle. It was about 3:15 a.m. and the driver, a 39-year-old man from Twinsburg, appeared to be intoxicated. The driver was arrested and taken to Solon Jail, where he took a breath test and blew a .114. The 39-year-old is being charged with operating a vehicle impaired, prohibited BAC and driving in marked lanes.

Theft, Feb. 12 — Someone pretended to be the CEO of Interdesign, 30725 Solon Industrial Parkway, and asked an employee to purchase $7,600 in iTunes gift cards. The employee obliged and then sent picture of the cards to an email address. All but $600 of the gift cards have been cashed by an unknown individual. The detective bureau is investigating the incident.
OVI, Feb. 13 — A 31-year-old Novelty man was arrested at 1:10 a.m. after he was stopped for speeding. Police recorded the man driving 77 mph in a 60 mph zone on US 422. The man appeared to be intoxicated and was arrested. The man took a breath test at Solon Jail, blowing a .111. The man also had 33.5 grams of marijuana in his car.

OVI, Feb. 13 — Police arrested a 47-year-old Moreland Hills woman on Feb. 13, at about 10 p.m. The woman was speeding and drifting out of her lane, according to police. The woman appeared to be intoxicated and was arrested. She refused to take a breath test at Solon Jail. The woman is charged with operating a vehicle impaired, failing to maintain a lane of travel and speeding.
