39 Grams Of Marijuana Found During Solon Traffic Stop: Police
Officers stopped a car for its darkly tinted windows on Tuesday. They found 21 baggies of marijuana inside the car, police say.

SOLON, OH — Police say they found approximately 39 grams of marijuana, 3.9 grams of cocaine and 19 hits of Ecstasy during a traffic stop on Tuesday. A 38-year-old North Randall man has been arrested and charged with trafficking in drugs, possession of drugs and was cited for excessive window tint.
Police said they stopped a car on Harper Road at about 2:15 p.m. The car allegedly had darkly tinted windows, prompting an officer to pull it over.
When the officer got close to the car, he says he smelled marijuana emanating from the interior. The driver of the car, Michael Harris, 38, had an arrest warrant from Independence Police, so he was detained.

Inside the glovebox of the car, police said they found 21 baggies of marijuana, with a total weight of 39 grams. They also allegedly found the 3.9 grams of cocaine and 19 hits of Ectasy.
Harris is facing one charge of trafficking in drugs, a felony, two charges of possession of drugs, also a felony, and a citation for excessive window tint.

The 38-year-old bonded out of Solon Jail on Thursday. His first court appearance will be March 28, a Solon Police spokesperson told Patch.
