4-Year-Old Boy Left on Solon School Bus
The boy was found in the bus garage area on Thursday afternoon and school district officials tell Fox 8 News that they are still investigating what happened.
A 4-year-old boy was left behind on a Solon school bus Thursday morning and was found later wandering around the school bus garage area, reports Fox 8 News.
The boy was supposed to get off at but was still on the bus when the driver took it to the storage area.
The child's family told the news station that the boy then unhooked his safety harness and began wandering around the bus parking area. He was found by school staff on Thursday afternoon.

The boy is fine, the family said.
The school district has suspended the bus driver and is still investigating the incident. Bus drivers are supposed to search the vehicle before parking.

"We take this very seriously and the responsibility to the students that we travel back and forth everyday," Tammy Strom told Fox 8. "This is not something that will be tolerated at all."
