75-Year-Old Man Hurt In Hit-And-Run In Solon
The man was walking near Cannon and Richmond roads when someone hit him with a car. The 75-year-old was rushed to a local hospital.

SOLON, OH — Police are looking for the driver of a car that hit a 75-year-old man and then sped off on Jan. 3. The man suffered serious injuries, but survived, a police spokesperson told Patch.
The incident took place in the area of Cannon Road and Richmond Road. Officers received reports of a man down in the roadway.
When police arrived, they found a man with apparent head and lower extremity injuries. The man was still in the road.

Officers also found pieces of the suspect vehicle scattered around the scene. The car itself had fled the scene.
The 75-year-old victim, a Bedford Heights resident, was taken to Hillcrest Hospital for treatment. His injuries were described as serious but not life threatening.

A Solon Police spokesperson said the detective bureau is still investigating the incident, and no description of the suspect vehicle was yet available to the public.
