ALDI Opening Solon Location October 17

SOLON, OH — Solon's new ALDI store will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony on October 17. Following the celebration, the store will run its Golden Ticket giveaway, offering gift cards to 100 customers.

The grand opening festivities start at 8:25 a.m. The ribbon-cutting will take place, followed by the Golden Ticket giveaway (gift cards worth up to $100), a chance to win free produce for a year and product sampling for customers. There will also be a limited giveaway of free eco-friendly grocery bags, a company spokesperson said.

The Solon store is located at 6217 SOM Center Road. The location will be open seven days a week from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

ALDI is investing $3.4 billion into its American presence. The brand is expanding nationwide, upping its store count in the U.S. to 2,500 locations by the end of 2022. ALDI currently has more than 1,900 stores in 36 states. The brand said it serves more than 40 million Americans each month.
