Officers also handled a gun violation at a Bruce Industrial Parkway business, a GPS-tracked stolen trailer on Cochran Road, drug paraphernalia at Solon Square, and a warrant arrest involving a juvenile with marijuana.

• Solon battalion chief and Tri-C paramedic instructor named new Brunswick Hills fire chief (cleveland.com) — A longtime Solon Fire Department lieutenant and battalion chief, Scott Altshuler, has been chosen as the first full-time fire chief for Brunswick Hills Township, bringing more than two decades of Solon experience to the new role. Township trustees praised his leadership and teaching background, noting his work training many local paramedics through Tri-C and other programs.
