SOLON, OH — Another home in Solon was burgled in June. This time a home on SOM Center Road was broken into, the third home targeted in the city in a five day span, according to police records.

The home is in the 7100 block of SOM Center. The residents came home at about 5:30 p.m. on June 12 and found that someone had smashed one of their back windows.

Items in their house had been rummaged through, police said. However, the residents couldn't find anything that was missing. The detective bureau is investigating the incident.

The burglary on SOM Center came four days after a pair of break-ins on Liberty Road.

A resident in the 7400 block of Liberty called police at about 4:15 p.m. on June 8 to report a possible burglary. He said he had left his home a little after 1 p.m. and when he came home, at 4:10 p.m., he found someone had forced his garage door open and gone into his house.

The intruder stole jewelry, credit cards and a tan blanket from the house. Police believe they have developed a possible suspect vehicle for the burglary (described near the bottom of this article).

That same day, a resident in the 6600 block of Liberty called police and said someone broke a rear window on their home and got into their house. Jewelry and, oddly, a pillow case were stolen.
