Arm-Waving Man In Street Restrained By Police In Solon
A Chardon man took an illegal drug and then began walking in a Solon street and waving his arms, according to police records.
SOLON, OH — A Chardon man had to be restrained after he began walking in the street and waving his arms, according to Solon police records. The man's friend said an illegal drug had been taken, prompting the antics in the street.
On October 18, at 2:30 a.m., callers reported a disturbance on Fox Run. Police were sent to investigate.
When officers arrived, they saw two men in the street. One man was waving his arms and another man appeared to be trying to calm him.

The helper told police the man waving his arms had taken an illegal drug, police records said. Officers also began trying to calm the man down, but the man only became angrier. Eventually, police had to restrain the man.
Solon firefighters and EMS took the man to a medical facility for treatment. The man, a 21-year-old from Chardon, was later issued a citation for disorderly conduct, police said.
