Assault At Solon Middle School
A 14-year-old student attacked a 13-year-old, throwing her to the ground and hitting her in the face.

SOLON, OH — A teenager faces assault charges after throwing a student at Solon Middle School to the ground and hitting her in the face with a closed fist. A Solon woman also spotted a voyeur watching her get changed last week. Read on for more information on those incidents and others from last week.
Assault, Solon Middle School: A 14-year-old Solon Middle School student is facing assault charges for attacking a 13-year-old student. The brawl happened in the hallway. The older girl threw the 13-year-old to the ground and then hit her in the face with a closed fist. The whole incident was caught on camera. The 14-year-old is being referred to the juvenile officer. The younger girl did not require medical attention.
Theft, Stillwater Lane: Police were called to the area of North Park for a vehicle break-in on May 27. The resident reported someone in a tan Escalade had gone through a vehicle parked in the driveway, but nothing appeared taken. Police searched the area and located an Escalade matching the resident's description on Stillwater Lane, parked in front of a house. The vehicle had been entered as stolen from Westlake. The homeowner on Stillwater Lane told police two vehicles had been stolen from his house. The detective bureau is following up on this case.

OVI, Aurora Road: Raymond Weimer, 38, of Walton Hills, was arrested on May 28 after he was seen making several lane violations on Aurora Road, near Liberty Road. The officer spoke to Weimer and smelled alcohol. Field sobriety tests indicated Weimer was impaired. He was arrested and taken to jail. He took a breath test and blew .123. Weimer was charged with OVI,prohibited BAC, and failure to stay in Marked lanes.
OVI, Aurora Road: Police arrested Phuc Vo, 50, of Aurora, after he was recorded speeding down Aurora Road, going 50 mph in a 35 mph zone. Vo had bloodshot and glassy eyes. An odor of alcohol wafted from his car. Field sobriety tests indicated Vo was impaired and he was arrested and taken to jail. He blew a .085 on a breat test and was charged with OVI, prohibited BAC, and speeding.

Voyeurism, Russell Drive: A man was seen standing outside of a 56-year-old Solon woman's window while she was getting undressed. Police did not locate the man, but they did find footprints in the wet grass outside of her window. Patrols in the area have been increased.
