Awards Presented To Solon Businesses, Volunteers

Charene Creative has been named the Solon Chamber of Commerce's 2017 Business of the Year.

SOLON, OH — Charene Creative has been named the Solon Chamber of Commerce's 2017 Business of the Year. The company specializes in marketing and advertising and has worked with the Western Reserve Safety Council and Signature Events which puts on Taste of Solon and NEO 5K GLO.

“The Solon business community is amazing and these three people we are honoring illustrate why. They bring talent, fun and a giving attitude to everything they do!” said Solon Chamber of Commerce Chair Cary Root.

Charene Creative was honored by the Chamber at its December Holiday Awards and Luncheon. The company is actually located in Aurora.

The Chamber also named its Board Member of the Year, Brooks Gerbitz of Swagelok. Brooks is the Chair for the Solon Chamber of Commerce Scholarship Foundation and launched successful donor campaigns.

During the holiday luncheon, Jim Bialosky of the Solon Benevolent Fund was named the 2017 Volunteer of the Year.
