Borders to Close All Remaining Stores

Borders Group will liquidate its remaining stores as early as Friday, according to the Huffington Post via Reuters.

The company declared bankruptcy and closed 200 of its 642 stores nationwide earlier this year, including locations in and Medina, but The remaining 399 stores will close by September, leaving more than 10,000 people without a job, according to the Wall Street Journal.

Calls made to the Solon location were not answered.

The company also operates stores in Tower City, Strongsville, and Westlake.
