Bowling Alley Employees Attacked In Solon: Police

Two people have been taken into custody on suspicion of assault, according to police records.

SOLON, OH - Two workers at Rollhouse Entertainment were assaulted last Friday, according to Solon police records shared with Patch.

According to police, at about 9:20 p.m., officers were called to the bowling alley and family entertainment center on Bainbridge Road for reports of an assault. Investigators learned that a group of employees had asked a rowdy group to leave the premises. The staff said the group had been acting inappropriately.

When asked to leave, one of the people in the group punched an employee in the face. A second employee, an 18-year-old, was then attacked from behind and smashed into a rack of bowling balls, according to police.

The group then left Rollhouse and drove off in a car. Police spotted the vehicle leaving the area and stopped the car.

Two people were cited for traffic offenses and two other people were taken into custody on suspicion of assault, police said.
