Solon Library Renovations Almost Complete

Last October, we started a expansion/renovation project to update your Branch.  We were looking at improving:

a) Access to the Building

b) Programming Space

c) Flexibile Space that promotes learning

As we head into April, the renovations are almost complete.  If you haven't already, I hope you will stop by and look at the Branch.  I've compiled a list of highlights:

-New & Novel Room:  The Newest and/or Most Popular Books, Magazines, Movies and Music.  I think you'll love this room, but if you are in a hurry, I think you will especially love this room.  It is located at the front of the library.

-Reorganized Children's Area + Story Time Room: We have expanded the play area, added child friendly book bins, reorganized the shelves and have added quite a bit of natural light with our new story space.

-Flexible work space.  Customers love to use the Branch space for studying, reading and research.  We've transformed the space to be more open and accomodate more customers.

I'd like to thank the Cuyahoga County Public Library Administration, City of Solon and the designers and workers who made the renovation a reality.  The Library Staff and Friends for their support and patience and most importantly the community.  Your continued support and honest feedback help the Branch everyday and I can't thank you enough.
