National Qualifiers Depart for Indianapolis Tomorrow Morning!

The Solon Speech and Debate Team qualified 11 members to the National Tournament in Indianapolis through the tournament at St. Ignatius earlier in February, and tomorrow is the much-anticipated departure date! Team team has continued to practice over the past month, rehearsing and re-vamping scripts, and all are thoroughly prepared and thrilled to face new competition from around the country. All members will compete Monday the 11th and Tuesday the 12th, breaking into the top 60 and top 30 in every event. Supplemental events will keep students competing even after they have been cut from the competition, and for those who do continue competing in their original event to the top 12 or even top 6, they will have our support and encouragement!
