Solon Speech and Debate Starts the New Year Strong At Highland High School

Solon’s Speech and Debate team traveled to yet another out-of-district competition to start off the New Year with a bang, delving right back into the competition spirit at Highland.  Although other schools complained of fatigue, Solon only complained of being away from competing and fancy suits for too long!  Their efforts were rewarded with a strong 2^nd place finish, and these following champions led the charge to victory:

Congratulations to all team members for hitting the ground running!  The Speech and Debate team will be competing at the Sylvania tournament with over 1100 competitors to maintain their momentum leading up to the State Qualifier in February.
